How to Make Machang-style Rice

Machang-style Rice Ingredients and Procedures.

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups glutinous rice, soaked in water and drained
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 pcs shiitake mushroom, sliced
  • 500 g pork belly, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • ¼ tsp 5 spice powder
  • 1 pc red onion, minced
  • 1 head garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsps sesame oil
  • 4 pcs Chinese sausages, sliced
  • Banana leaf for lining
