How to Make Deep Fried Fish and Tofu in Black bean Sauce

Deep Fried Fish and Tofu in Black bean Sauce Ingredients and Procedure.

Ingredients:
  • 500 grams Lapu-lapu fillet, sliced in to thick strips.
  • 2 blocks firm tofu, sliced into thick strips
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp pepper
  • Oil for deep frying.


Ingredients for the sauce:
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 4 stalks, scallions sliced thinly
  • 1 thumb size ginger, peeled and julienned
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • ¼ cup fermented black beans
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 2 tbsp chicken stock or water
  • Cilantro leaves for garnish
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil for garnish
